According to the source, the update will cover nearly 60 smartphone and tablet models of the brand, with the first wave on the global market set to start on October 29. The company also revealed exactly which devices will get ColorOS 17 and when. The rollout mechanics are traditional for Oppo: the update goes out in waves, with each subsequent group of devices joining the rollout after the previous one. The full list of models and their wave assignments are published in Oppo's schedule itself — that's the reference to check for timing on a specific device, since dates differ across devices. ### 💡 Why it matters ColorOS 17 is a skin on the current Android branch, and the schedule settles the "when will my device be updated" question that usually drags on for months after the announcement. Publishing a list of nearly 60 devices signals that Oppo is updating a broad range of models, not just flagships. For owners, it also serves as a timing guide: the first wave starts on October 29, with the rest following the published schedule.
